Specifically produced in a non-reflecting Midnight Black color, the Stealth is perfect for FOH or side stage locations, as it will not reflect spotlight or other light sources. It was designed with the advanced mechanics and materials to perform in a manner that actually improves the health of a music engineer's back.
The patented ZenWave motion provides unbinding, stress-free support as the music engineer leans forward in a natural position, and protects the lower back from further injury. Additionally, the scientifically designed backrest moves with the music engineer to massage the lumbar area of the spine, which increases blood flow and nutrients to the lower back muscles and intervertebral discs.

Almost 40 years ago, ergonomic researchers determined that the load placed on the intervertebral discs in the lower back increased over 40% when a person went from a standing position to an upright sitting position. As someone begins to move into a sitting position, they raise their thigh into a position where the backside of the knee is at a 90 degree angle, thereby forcing the pelvis to rotate backwards and turn the tailbone under. This positioning of the pelvis, relative to the spine, starts stacking the intervertabral discs in a manner which places increased pressure on the discs, the nerves which radiate from the spinal cord outward to the lower part of the body, and the connective tissues in the lower back. This increased pressure has a significant potential to lead to cumulative trauma disorder, more commonly referred to as “back pain."
Using patented technology, the designers of these revolutionary chairs were able to design a conventional looking task chair which allows the user to adjust the seat pan with enough downward slope to keep the lordosis curve in the lower back. Combining a seat shell which pivots as the user leans forward, with a convex shaped, specially tensioned mesh surface, the Stealth allows the user to eliminate the harmful loading of the intervertebral discs in both the active working position and the reclining passive or resting position.
This new technology also equalizes pressure from the seat surface, thereby eliminating uncomfortable, unhealthy pressure points under the thighs, the tailbone and the hips as the user leans forward to access their work area.
Another beneficial feature of these chairs is its floating, lumbar shaped backrest. While most common backrests are designed with a concave shape, the backrest is shaped to exactly match the convex lumbar curve of the lower back. When this unique shape is combined with a spring loaded, floating backrest mechanism, the backrest “floats” with the user’s movements as they lean forward and backward. The floating motion’s constant rolling up and down the user’s back actually massages the muscles to increase blood flow and increase hydration of the intervertabral discs. This massaging action and disc hydration benefits the user by keeping their back muscles refreshed, even during extended work sessions. Unlike any other chair in the world, these models can be used in a traditional upright seated position or in a forward tilted declining position. So, for the first time in human existence, there is a better, healthier way to sit.

Each order is custom upholstered, assembled, and inspected before it leaves our facility in Centennial Colorado.
Most orders are completed within 2 weeks' time and shipped within the USA for a total of 3-4 weeks turnaround.
There are times when an order may be placed on backorder and you will be notified by the email and or phone number you provide.
For shipping, we commonly use UPS and have a standard rate of $99 to cover all costs of shipping in the USA. This allows us to ship daily from our facility to you in a timely manner and update your order accordingly.
On some larger orders, it may require custom freight or pallet-based shipping. We will work with our vendors to find the best available rate on shipping and or split an order to get it to you in a timely fashion and or reduce cost.
Once you place an order with Stealth Chairs and you are working with a dealer they will be notified that the order is confirmed and or shipping to make things easier for order transparency. If the order is shipping to the dealer you will still be notified of the order placement and or shipping by email on the order placed. If you would like additional notifications we can send them as well to the emails you provide and or you update VIA your crown seating account.

You will be notified by the shipping company of these tariffs you are responsible for. We do our best to make sure you get the best rate by DHL, UPS, and or other companies to complete the shipping without additional costs. An average order with custom upholstery outside the USA is about 6-8 Weeks before you receive it.
Back-ordered based on materials
We use the best upholstery, materials, and components to create a seating experience that will last a lifetime. In doing this sometimes certain parts may be back-ordered due to volume, waiting on shipments, and or customized options provided for you. You will always be notified provided by the email on file and or a phone call from a representative to let you know of the new lead time and or options to change the order to expedite delivery.
Working with a dealer
When working with a dealer there may be times when your order is not updated by us. This is due to the dealer arranging the best delivery window and or notification has been paused to await other items from additional vendors, parts, and or items that you have placed on a larger order. You will be notified by your dealer on when or where these orders are from Stealth Chairs and if there is a delay the dealer can notify us or you of the expected time window based on the order.
How does the Stealth Chair come and or is it assembled?
Each stool may be dissembled based on the best method of shipping. The stool will be detached from the base and cylinder to make shipping easy. Each stool takes an average of 5-15 minutes to assemble out of the box. We do offer fully assembled stools based on your order for additional costs and shipping. Please reach out after you place the order to have it fully assembled and you will receive a separate invoice for this service.
