Stealth Ergonomic Chair Technology

Patented. Not replicated.

Most ergonomic chairs are designed for sitting upright at a keyboard. But audio engineers, editors and broadcasters spend long hours leaning forward — riding faders, adjusting EQ, working the console. Traditional chairs stop supporting you in that position, which is why so many professionals end long sessions with back pain.

Stealth Chairs use patented forward-tilt technology that supports you both upright and leaning in. Here's how it works.

The Stealth difference

  • Patented ZenWave seat that pivots as you lean forward
  • Free-Float backrest that stays with you in every position
  • Up to 40% less disc pressure in the forward working position
  • Built to order in Centennial, Colorado, sized to your body
  • 400 lb capacity, 5-year warranty, every part replaceable
Stealth Chair ZenWave forward-tilt seat

ZenWave Motion Technology

Traditional chairs lock your pelvis in place. When you lean forward — as engineers do hundreds of times a session — the chair works against your body and compresses your intervertebral discs.

The patented ZenWave seat shell pivots as you lean forward, keeping the natural curve in your lower back. Its convex, specially tensioned mesh spreads pressure evenly, removing the hotspots under your tailbone, hips and thighs.

Result: up to 40% less disc pressure in the forward working position.

Stealth Chair Free-Float backrest

Free-Float Backrest

Most backrests have a single recline mechanism: lean back and it follows, lean forward and the support disappears. The Free-Float backrest follows your movement in every direction.

Lean into the console to ride the faders and it stays with you, giving continuous lumbar support. Recline to listen back and it supports your spine in a healthy resting position. Set its height with the upright adjustment knob so the lumbar support lands exactly where you need it.

Stealth Technology FAQ

What is a forward-tilt chair?

A chair whose seat tilts forward with you as you lean in, so your hips open up and your lower back keeps its natural curve instead of rounding over. Stealth's ZenWave seat does this automatically as you move.

Does the backrest still support me when I lean forward?

Yes. The Free-Float backrest follows you in every direction, so you keep lumbar support whether you're leaning into the console or sitting back to listen.

Which seat size should I choose?

As a rule of thumb, the Standard fits people under 6'0" and under 200 lbs, and the Pro fits people 6'0"+ or 200 lbs+. If you're close to either line, the Pro is usually the better fit.

Can I replace parts myself?

Yes. Every part is replaceable and kept in stock, so a worn cylinder or caster never means replacing the whole chair.
