Music Stools & Chairs with Backrest for Musicians

Keyboardists, guitarists and bassists who play seated are usually stuck choosing between a backless stool with no support and an office chair with armrests that fight the instrument. Over a long set, a rehearsal or a residency, leaning in to play with nothing behind your lower back takes a toll.

The Stealth Performer is the third option: a stage-ready music stool with a backrest, a saddle seat for freedom of movement, and no armrests to get in the way of your playing position.

Why musicians choose Stealth

  • Real backrest support on a perch-height stool
  • Saddle seat that opens your hip angle for a natural playing posture
  • No armrests to fight guitars, basses or keyboard reach
  • Ships with chair glides to stay put; quiet Stage Glide casters available
  • 400 lb capacity, 5-year warranty, every part replaceable — ships within 48 business hours

Built for the Stage, Rehearsal Room and Teaching Studio

  • Real backrest support. A backrest that holds up through a full set, a long rehearsal or a residency — something a standard stool can't offer.
  • Saddle seat and perch height. Opens your hip angle so your lower back isn't doing all the work while you play.
  • Adjustable footring. Brace your feet when you're perched high, at the height that suits your instrument.
  • Two piston heights included. Set it for your instrument, stage or riser.
  • Silent on stage. Use the included chair glides to stay put, or add Stage Glide casters for quiet, controlled movement.

Musician Chair FAQ

Why no armrests on the Performer?

Armrests get in the way of guitars, basses and keyboard reach. The Performer leaves your arms free while the backrest supports your lower back.

Will it roll around on stage?

It ships with chair glides so it stays put. Swap in Stage Glide casters if you want quiet, controlled movement.

How much weight does it hold?

Every Stealth model, including the Performer, is rated for 400 lbs and backed by a 5-year warranty covering all parts against manufacturing defects.

How fast do chairs ship?

Chairs ship from Nashville, TN or Centennial, CO within 48 business hours of your order. Shipping cost is quoted at checkout.
